Shalom everyone. This is Dita AKA Sis Chris. This is my first blog ever! I want you to know we are starting a Messianic home fellowship in the Tallahassee area. The name of our fellowship is Sar Shalom Temple of Worship.
Sar Shalom means Prince of peace. We are excited about what the Lord is doing.
Wendy and Travis have graciously opened their home for Shabbat for three Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. and on the 4th, we will be at Jay and Gwen's home.
We're not yet finished tweaking the order of service but we're close. Our music will be a combination of new and old Hebrew music plus contemporary Christian music. We will be reading the Torah portions, Haftorah and New Covenant scriptures plus celebrating the feasts and Holy Days throughout the year. Let's not forget Oneg, a meal after the service.
If you're not familiar with a Messianic fellowship I invite you to come and see. For myself I love learning about how the whole bible is integrated with the old and new with Yeshua (Jesus) as the pinnacle of our faith.
We have a call to Tallahassee and communities nearby to shine the Gospel light of our Father in these last days. Why not come and be a part of this calling.
